Terms of Service

The service
Waypoint is a free, invite-only job-search assistant operated by Daniel Brunsdon as a personal project for friends and family. Access is granted at the operator’s discretion and may be revoked at any time.
Using Waypoint
- Provide truthful information about your own work history.
- Don’t upload content you don’t have the right to share, and don’t attempt to access other users’ data.
- Don’t abuse the AI features (e.g., automated bulk usage) — per-account usage limits apply.
Your content
You own everything you upload and everything Waypoint generates for you — resumes, cover letters, and interview guides are yours to use freely. You grant the service only the permissions needed to store and process your content to provide its features, as described in the Privacy Policy.
AI-generated content
Waypoint is designed to only make claims grounded in the information you provide, but AI output can contain mistakes. Review every document before sending it to an employer — you are responsible for the accuracy of applications you submit.
No warranty
Waypoint is provided as-is, free of charge, with no guarantees of availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or job-search outcomes. The service may change or shut down at any time; you can request an export of your data beforehand.
